SHIFT: PRN

SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem

Medical City Dallas
Registered Nurse - RN - PACU
Shift / Schedule:
Evenings PRN 1100 - 2330 / 2x a week
** 1 Weekend / 1 Weekday Call Shift Required

Our Main PACU at Medical City Dallas consists of 18 Bays with 4 overflow. The Registered Nurse (RN) on our team helps to recover a wide variety of patients. Our busy, fast paced unit has a 2:1 patient ratio with the support of Multi-Task Assistants. As a PACU RN you will assist with high acuity patients and enjoy the support of a great team! We do require call but you will have most weekends and Holidays off and we use self-scheduling. We also have dedicated Night PACU RNs.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Current TX RN license or valid compact license

BSN required within 24 months

Current BLS certification, issued by American Heart Association

ACLS, required within 12 months

PALS, required within 12 months

Two years acute, critical care experience required (CCU, ICU, CVICU)

PACU (Recovery) experience preferred
Associated topics: care, care unit, infusion, intensive, neonatal, nurse, nurse clinical, registered nurse, surgery, transitional
